FOCUS Ministries Announces Departure of Executive Director Tonya Chandler
Knoxville, TN — August 28, 2025 — FOCUS Ministries announces that Tonya Chandler has departed from her role as Executive Director. Mrs. Chandler has served faithfully in this leadership position, carrying the heart of FOCUS’ mission forward with compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment.
“We are deeply grateful for Mrs. Tonya’s passion for this ministry, her obedience to God, and her excellent service. While we are saddened to see her depart, we celebrate her new season ahead with joy and prayer,” said Victoria Glasscock, Board Chairperson. “We trust that God, who works all things together for good, will continue to guide and bless her journey and His work through FOCUS.”
Going forward, FOCUS Ministries’ Board will oversee the transition. The Board and the staff’s dedication to delivering Christ-centered hope and support to incarcerated and newly released women remains resolute.
