Coffee, Donuts & Spiritual Conversation...
It won't be long until another semester is complete behind the walls. Many facilitators like the break time. However, the winter break is often the longest. Therefore, FOCUS would like to encourage teachers to visit students between the semesters as well (as one's schedule allows).
Many ask, "Can I lead a Bible Study?" or "Do I need a curriculum?" The answer is yes... and the scriptures are the best curriculum we have!
Shawn Stutz, Executive Director of FOCUS, would like to host a morning of facilitator investment on December 1 from 9:00-11:30 am. This moment of coffee/donuts, coaching, and spiritual conversation will be highly interactive. Time will be spent walking through this picture as a tool for leading quality Bible studies.
If you are a facilitator looking to sharpen your skills, fellowship with other teachers, or you just like donuts, you should plan to attend!
Before joining FOCUS, Shawn spent 20 years as a pastor. For six of those years, he was a college ministry and teaching pastor in California. Those two decades dedicated to communicating the gospel have given Shawn a host of helpful insights when it comes to teaching God's Word.
