FOCUS is glad to be have been awarded the Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency! Being a nonprofit in the current financial landscape is not exactly easy. And while FOCUS has not always had the easiest financial pathway to accomplishing it's mission, stewardship and financial integrity have always been a foundational part of that journey.
FOCUS longs to demonstrate to donors, local foundations, and the community at large the hard work leveraged to both earn and steward each dollar of entrusted generosity.
FOCUS was excited to be announced as winners of the Trinity Foundation Phase II Grant. This honor was awarded on October 24 at the Cherokee Country Club and it is the second time FOCUS has been fortunate enough to win the Trinity Phase II Grant. In 2017, FOCUS won the grant for the men's reentry program, of which 2 more men will be graduating on November 14th at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church (click for event details).

You don't want to miss this special night! God is so good to have blessed us with these two fine men. Come and celebrate their achievements with us Thursday, November 14 from 6-8pm.
The event will be held in the Watershed Building of Cedar Springs Presbyterian behind the main building visible from Kingston Pike.
Hear from a Knox County Men's Volunteer about his experience in class.
(It is encouraging to hear about) The way that these men are opening up and identifying with the areas that they need to improve upon. Their willingness to be honest and open about themselves is amazing. It is such a blessing to see the growth within each one of these men as well as the love they have for one another. It is like a brotherhood that are there to encourage and to push one another as iron sharpens iron. God is good!
Keep all these men lifted up... Pray that God's favor would be upon them, that God's will be done and that they have the will to accept whatever that may be.
