Don't Miss Out!It was a such a blessing to see Dean and Darrin graduate from the Men's New Beginnings Reentry Program on Thursday. Dean and Darrin have spent the last nine months growing in the Lord and being stellar examples for the FOCUS reentry program community. Remember, the 5 Levels of the MENS Program follow this pattern from Hebrews 1 & 2: 1) Eyes on Jesus -- the author and completion of our faith 2) Surrender -- the sins that easily entangles us 3) Endurance -- is needed in the race to which Jesus calls us 4) Sacrifice -- will be mandatory to succeed in the plans God has for you 5) Victory -- is for those that run the race well and complete the course FOCUS and many other volunteers had the privilege of praying and encouraging Dean and Darrin's future steps beyond the FOCUS program. If you would still like to give these men a gift card or a special present, please click the button below and let us know. To God be the Glory!! Christian leaders have defined soul care as intentional and intensive discipleship paired with deep, authentic fellowship. What a great way to accentuate our need for both the vertical and horizontal dynamics of faith and life. FOCUS loves to kick off the year this attention on quality soul care. The Eagle Rock Retreat is a way to make faith and fellowship a spiritual New Year's Resolution. In addition to turning our eyes on Jesus, we will be spending time with other FOCUS Staff, Board, Volunteers, Students, and Graduates -- the whole FOCUS Family! This weekend will be a righteous, refreshing, and relational time. The gathering sessions will be interactive experiences in the round -- filled with song, scripture, and group sharing. So come draw closer to Jesus, meet other volunteers, enjoy some downtime, and sharpen your board game skills ;) If you've never been to the Eagle Rock Retreat Center, you will quickly realize God's presence abides there richly. I promise you will drive away from this great event blessed. |
